A 12 string acoustic electric guitar. The local music scene is so decayed at this point that everyone who can is going acoustic. |

Not really a Christmas List item, but I’m holding my breath until February, waiting for a new Gretsch Tennessee Rose. I’m one of those rare Surfers that insists on a hollow-body axe and Gretsch is my instrument of choice. Xmas no, Festivus, yes. I just ordered a set of Lollar Regals (Jason Lollar's version of the Fender Wide Range Humbucking Pickup) for my Lee Ronaldo Sonic Yute Jazzmaster; I had a Mastery Bridge installed on it a couple of months ago. Once my Supro Thunderbolt found out that I got something for the Jazzmaster, it felt a little neglected, so tomorrow I'm going to order a Strymon Flint to keep it company. All in all, it should be an interesting take on the stereotypical Surf Music tone. —-Cheers, Clark- -Less Paul, more Reverb- |
