Permalink Surf Rock 2 song pack released for Rocksmith 2014

I'm a big fan of the video game Rocksmith, especially since the 2014 upgrade that allows you to step through a track note by note. It gives me a chance to stop it while I tab out the tricky parts. Really love the Surf Rock Pack, especially what it did for improving my performance of Walk, Don't Run by the Ventures. It's a great learning tool.

The first surf pack contained Walk, Don't Run, Misirlou, and Wipe Out. I spent the last couple of years hoping that another surf pack would be released. Sometime last spring I got caught up in other things and didn't fire up Rocksmith again until last week. Lo and behold, there was a new surf pack release, Surf Rock II, and even better, it included three of the surf tunes on my all time favorites list: Penetration, Pipeline, and Surf Rider! These are 3 tunes that should be part of any would be instro-surf musician's repertoire. It also includes Surfin' USA, it's a nice bonus, but I would gladly trade it for Mr. Moto, Latinia, or Baja.
