I own just about every fender amp that everyone has talked about so far, but for the parameters that were given small, under $800.00, useable as a 2nd amp for club gigging and still very portable I would get a FENDER DELUXE REVERB. The vibrolux is a truly awesome amp and my favorite to play, but the deluxe is a little smaller in size(not weight) and still sounds great with a reverb unit.

I'm playing through a Reverend Hellhound head - it's somewhere between a Fender and a Vox, tonewise (there's a switch that changed the voicing of the amp from "US" to "UK" - I have it set to "UK" with the gain a little more than 1/2way up, so it's still relatively clean, but with some breakup).
I just got a Reverend Kingsnake 20-60. It is very nice indeed. It runs at 60 watts or 20 watts . I played with the band this weekend and it was plenty loud at the 20 watt setting. It kept up with our other guitar player's Fender Pro Reverb (the Silverface 70 watt version I think.) It sounds great turned down to solo practice volume at home too. I'm planning on leaving my 2x12 cabinet at our rehersal/recording space and getting a 1x12 cabinet for home.
I got the last Kingsnake they had here..

very friendly people with great personalized service. They still have the combo version of the Kingsnake's little brother the Goblin 5-15...

Yo, "Tool shed"....
That Reverend Kingsnake is a little ass-kicker of an amp.
Nice score!!! I've got the Hellhound mini stack (40/60 Head
w/ 4x10 cabinet), and a Goblin , and I love 'em! I wouldn't
mind pickin' up a Kingsnake, too.

I ended up picking up a 112 50W Ampeg Reverberocket for home use. I played it with the band on a couple of occasions, along with a 410 silverface Bassman, and a Deluxe Reverb (which I'd still like to get one day), but tonewise, I gotta stick with the Reverend Hellhound head/212 cab. I love that thing dearly.
