Thanks to your latest share (National Provincial Samba), I’ve been gleefully free falling down the ‘Ivan plays _’ rabbit hole (again).
Rediscovered that you’d done this tune for the series already (YAY!!!). Despite too many deserving contenders in the catalogue, The Saracen continues to be among my top 3 favorite Madeira / Space Cossacks songs, often claiming the cherished #1 spot. Intense power, menacing and sharp. Guttural growl, singing highs, pummeling riffage and melodic gymnastics that are nothing short of acrobatic. Blows me away every time.
Anyhow, just enjoyed this one once again and couldn’t not comment on it.
THANK YOU, Ivan, for the great music and these amazing ‘Ivan plays’ (& the duets w/ Sr & Jr) videos.

Fady, thank you very deeply for all your extremely kind comments, I'm grateful to hear them! About the best thing any surf musician can hear is that other people really appreciate their work, since obviously almost none of us are doing this for money! I'm also so glad to hear that you're enjoying my (and my dad's and my) videos, too! Thank you very much, Fady!!

Excellent treat today which then led me to previously uncharted territory that being of course Ivan's youtube channel. A great way to enjoy my pot of morning coffee. But I have to ask one thing: Why doesn't Ivan sing in his videos?
