Since we are landlocked here in Colorado, we don't get many chances to play for any types of actual surfers. But, last Sunday, it was great fun to play for the Denver area's surfing community, at the very cool River Run Park, where a portion of the South Platte River has been engineered to have a section that can be surfed. Beautiful day, and great people who really "get it" regarding surfing and surf music.

What was the age separation of the surfers? Did anybody ask to use the woodie? Smile

The surfers ranged from young to grey-haired. And, the '49 was a very popular item, with people having their picture taken with it, looking all around inside it, etc. One attendee grew up surfing in San Diego, and loved the surfboards on top of the car.
