Just have no words yet to discribe. As a long time strat player I'm really shocked by how more balls in sound it has and how the short scale is good for heavy strings surfing) Just more lows and highs and middle and everything) More attack, fullness and bite. Argghhh! The hell of a guitar!

If you really need it - why not) will have a rehearsal on Tuesday so may do some records.
May be something special you wanted to know? Cause for me the Jag was a complete mistery till I tried one and youtube videos were not really helpful.

I'm talking to a guy who's selling a Johnny Marr Jaguar with Lollar pickups and the Mastery bridge for a very good price. I'm pondering just to pick it up and maybe sell it for the same price if I don't like it.

I think you just should give it a try. Jaguar is a beast of it's own and I seem to just love it)

Oh!
Yes, try it with buzz stop.
I tried it and I sold it very soon...
For me the buzz stop destroys the whole surfy feeling of the Jag (or Jazzy).
The strings felt too stiff... Playing felt uncomfortable for me.
And for me it destroys the nice design of a guitar. (similar to a clip tuner on headstock while playing!!!!!!!!!! AaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhH!!!!!! I hate iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt!!!!)
My tip if you want to change something for better playability and more sustain AND correct radius!: Get a staytrem bridge and you´ll be happy. If not, feel free to say to me: "Ralf you are a totally guitar idiot. I´ll never trust you again. I will buy ALL vinyls and CD´s of your band and destroy them in a youtube video!"

no Mastery! staytrem!
And Fk O buzz stop!
Sell the buzz stop at ebay. People like it.

Ralf, I remember you wrote me about staytrem and even offered your help in shipping cause they do not ship to Ukraine) but I got this buzz stop almost for free and just should try it. Then I will get rid of it and buy a staytrem with your help and be happy as hell and we will have our beer at least virtually) Prosit, friend!)

I finally got a clip on tuner that I like. I splurged for the new Peterson. Its never coming to a gig with me, but it is great for around the house. It has replaced my trusted tuning app on my phone. 'Strobe' tuning is really nice.
Also, just say no to the buzzstop. Mostly, it isn't needed if the guitar is set up correctly. You also don't need a Mastery/Staytrem either(the Staytrem colors the 'true' Jag sound as well). Do I have Masteries on 5 and a Staytrem on another... yeah... But no Buzzstop. Never... One of the best parts about the Jag is the low break angle over the bridge and the extended length of string behind it. A very important aspect.

What Jake said, yes!
...I like clip tuners a lot!!! I even use them live. I left my floor tuners at our rehearsal room since months.
I use clip tuners, but only for tuning! Not while playing. I don´t want to destroy the supersexy look of of a Jag.

I use Planet Waves and D’Addario tuners that are so small that you see almost nothing from other side)
