Hi
Can someone reconize this song ?
It's been a long time I am looking for this band or song name ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTxw1PlNCxw

Thanks a lot !

The song is "The Saracen" by The Madeira. I'm not sure who is playing it.

I don't agree that it's the Saracen. It's definitely got that middle eastern vibe though. The drums sound programmed to me, I'd guess that it's a commercially produced piece that USA Today grabbed off of a library somewhere.

Danny Snyder

aka Mycroft Eloi of The TomorrowMen
aka Shecky Shekels of Meshugga Beach Party

Please check out our latest album FUTOURISM, it's a deluxe box set with original artwork from 10 artists and a bonus download sticker.

pilou91. Go with Danny he knows his stuff.

Could also be a song by "Boom Pam"!?

Thanks to everyone

Yes I think Danny may be right.
But also it looks to me "a too nice song" to be just used as a sample for tv !
This song would have got a greater life in a cd !

I agree with all of y'all. I don't think it's the Madeira even if it sounds similar, but it's way better than most commercial backing music. I'm really curious! I just previewed all the Madeira I had and, trying to go a different route, all the Phantom Four I had.

To be honest it doesn't sound like a dead ringer for any of them. I hear Ivan in the first half of the video, but not as much when you get 30 seconds in, and the production seems a little different than Madeira or Cossacks. I also disagree that the drums sound programmed, at least with the cymbals. Also sounds too modern for Omar Khorshid or anything like that.

Wow, nice find. I too have no clue what the song or artist is.

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

I believe that song was also used during a surf/beach scene in the movie "The Beach Boys: An American Family". Its early in the movie during the scene where Dennis and Mike are on the beach and had just finished surfing and were checking out the girls. I remember the song as I too had wondered who recorded it. Not sure if that helps any.

Please
There is no relation with The Beach Boys. (except cultural relations)
It is a new surfing song (last date 2014)
I think it is a very hard Enigma to resolve and only people that are close to surfing environment can find (reconize) this genious player. Genious guitarist ! Genious feeling !
please don't close this topic !
so nice.

Help!
Who does that song?

I agree though with others, the drums and guitar tone sound like it may be a stock recording for soundtracks, ads etc.
