Everyone I have talked too so far really dug Eddies performance. I think it was most I have ever seen a crowd into an artist at one of the museum shows. He has a website at www.edddiebertrand.com

Hey Tim, did you upload them as .mov files or what?
If you can convert them to .mp4 and then upload the .mp4 files I think they will be in sync, at least that was my experience many months ago. Maybe YouTube has changed their software since then though.
I used QuickTimePro to convert my .mov's to .mp4's.

I will do a review in the General discussion forum, but just wanted to do a quick comment here.
The sound was really good in person.
There was 5 showman amps and when I got to HB at noon, I could hear Eddie 5 blocks away.
it was pure clean Fender sound, and reverb tank. no effects on the
Eddie and the showman songs and Mr. Moto.
but he did have that repeat/ Loop for the more modern experimental song.
I thought it was an amazing show. and was quite blown away to see
Eddie really play old school style.

He really looked pumped to be there and was very much the Showman. Insert "wish I could have been there"** comment here.
Now he's gotta play with PJ and do some Belairs tunes! ;)
** only made 43 times this month so far.

Brian,
Yes he was very pumed up and is an amazing showman. But not too cockey like somebody else we all know.
Eddie and PJ did a few tunes together at the Rendevous Ballroom reunion in 2000 and at the recent Deke Dickerson Guitar geek fest.
as well as that south bay surf stomp video back in the 80's that Tim of the Supertones has posted on youtube.
I'm waiting for a e-mail from Eddie with the songs he did before I do my review.

It was downloaded to my computer as VRO file. I have tried converting to MP4 but Movie Maker still will not work with it. Its too bad. I just watched the raw footage again. Its really good.

I'm wondering if the fact that it was a foreign camera(Germany)
have anything to do with the problem?
but I think what is there still puts the vibe of the show across.
just in a time warp.

One of the best parts of that was that Great wall of Showman amps.
whe I got there and saw that I thought about all the SG101 ers and them having a stroke seeing that on video or photos.
thanks again Tim,

I'll ask him when I do the Interview, But I was always under the assumption that he had showman's hence Eddie and the Showmen,
and I have heard he had them tweeked by Leo so that the high's wouldn't be so piercing.

I'm just remembering a story in which Eddie took his bandmaster 1x12 to Leo to get it converted to a 2x12.

I remeber that story too Jake, supposedly he wasn't allowed to show it to anyone cause it was still in test-phase or something.
now, where did we read that?

In the video of Eddies sound check you can hear him comment to Jim Masoner, "We need the Bandmasters."
