As is my usual - I've decided rather late, that I'm going.. This year, I'm driving.... my 1969 Buick Electra 225 from Denver to CA. I wanted to do it last year, but chickened out at the last minute. Road trip baby! —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |

I was telling someone about going to this years convention - and how much fun I had last year....and how much more I was looking forward to this years lineup.....and the more I talked, the more excited I got to go! In case any of you are on the fence, I highly suggest you go for it and come out to the convention. I just saw the Kilaueas last night, and even factoring the long travel time the day before, and the airline losing 3 of the guys' luggage, they sounded fantastic. Really one of the very best surf bands playing today (IMHO). They understand that the key to good surf music is strong melodies and songwriting, and have the talent and experience to pull it off.
