pug rock girl!!!! we got a lot more coming soon, like 20 songs to record ill post the album here if any of you wanted. the simple punky kinda songs are up there, we are gonna do our reggae and surf ones later, cos they would require more fiddling about with guitar sounds and levels, but im really excited about this new recording technique

I like it! But then again I have the sex pistols, the Dead Kennedys, X, black flag, the clash, richard hell, EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN' RAMONES SONG, and alot more on my IPod
I love Audacity! I'm a guitar guy (aren't we all?) so I wish the vocals weren't front and center, but you guys really nailed that 1978 punk sound, you know, before the Clash prettied it up... What is the guitar running through?

its running through a marshall. im playing the lead guitar and most of the vocals on these recordings. i just put up a new one, it has a few mistakes and i made up the words on the spot (except the chorus) but im pretty proud of it, its the one at the bottom "slack for your life"

Are all of these songs recorded this way? Pug Rock Girl has the best mix out of the 4, vocals were a bit up front and lead guitar was a bit burried. With a little more tweaking you could probably get away with an entire CD recorded like this.
