squier bullet with trem, no wlisted on squier website (Royal Salmon finish, no less ) squier bullet, no trem, not listed on squier website anymore, but at one point available:
Fender Bullet, no trem (wicked shortlived guitar form the 80's)
I think $100 is a good deal for a new guitar with a basswood body, it is available in arctic white, so why not getting one from MF or so? —Rules to live by #314: |

I looked at one of the new Squier Bullets - the rosewood necked model with a trem. it has a slightly thinner body than a standard Strat. I must say that for $99, it was a pretty good guitar. The Guitar Center kid said "they make excellent firewood" but I'd have to disagree. The neck felt nice, and the finish was great.
I also looked at one of the new Squier Vintage Modified Stratocasters. This is a nice guitar - $299. I think it's nicer than the mexican Standard Strat - A lot nicer. Not quite as nice as the Classic 50's 60's series Fender Strats. http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0301200525 —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |

The original Squiers from '82 - '83, or JV's as they are known (because the serial number starts JV), are amazing guitars that are starting to fetch serious money on e-bay now - especially the very first ones where the Fender logo is big and the Squier logo is small. These were made in '82 and can make 800GBP (1600$) on e-bay here. About 500 GBP (1000$) for the ones with a big Squier logo. I have an 83 JV Telecaster that is the best guitar I've ever owned - much better than my 65 Tele or my 2000 American Tele. I've done about 2000 gigs with it I reckon, and the only reason I'm not currently using it is that it now needs a re-fret and some other work. Not bad value-for-money given that I paid 60GBP ($120) for it in 1984! —http://www.myspace.com/thepashuns Youth and enthusiasm are no match for age and treachery. |

I had an American made Squier once, until it fell off the back of the truck. ( am not a good knot tier) I bought another Squier, a Jason Ellis ( Skateboarder) signiture. I thought it sounded great until I bought my G&L. And I thought the G&L sounded great until I bought my Fender JM, and Strat. Then I sold the squier and the G&L. —The Mighty Surf Lords- Sparks,Nv. |

Don't disagree. Just ask him to let you have it for $5. About that pink Squier Bullet Strat I was looking at - New developments, here. —I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing. |

Some of the buzz about the new Bullets is that the necks on those babies are way better than they deserve to be for that price. —Swing! Twang! Shake! Twist! |
