Billy Miller of Norton Records, Kicks Magazine, The A-Bones, Zantees, etc. has died. He had been ill for a couple of years now, diabetes, multiple myeloma, and charcot, and had undergone leg amputation fairly recently. Norton records has released several surf and instrumental records over the years by The Untamed Youth, Link Wray, John and The Nightriders, Phantom Surfers and others. Kicks magazine and Norton Records provided incredible inspiration for me in the early years of The Exotics,as well as in the development of my radio show, The Chickenshack. Billy Miller was an American original and a true rock and roll fanatic. RIP.
