Got a Squire Bass VI and, while it's no Bigsby, mine has been quite lovely! Have you tried lowering the lights and playing some Sinatra? mj

The avri and mij units I've felt are nothing like this. Granted, mine appears to have a shorter arm than anything else I've seen, but hot damn she don't like to dance. |

So just had to revive this thread after finding this for sale on Reverb and actually getting to see the 1961 floating pickups! https://reverb.com/item/30213064-1961-62-fender-bass-vi I got interested after seeing these on the Curtis Novak website: https://www.curtisnovak.com/shop/bass-vi-1961/ I had no idea this existed, but now absolutely have to hear what this sounds like. —Jeremy |
