When I take my Garnet Revolution II amp to gigs I use the onboard reverb. It has as much drip as a tank, with only one control (amount of reverb)but no tone, or individual dwell or mix controls. Still sounds great.

Sometimes I do with my mustang 1 v.2 amp but it is not as springy as I want to be.

Onboard 'verb is good enough for me at the moment. I'm not digging the sound of my tank lately and need to splurge on some new tubes, but until then the Mustang III is doing a great digital job: several reverb options and very tweakable. It doesn't actually drip, but it still sounds great in the living room.

My '68 Super Reverb w/factory JBL/D110F's has "on-board" reverb!

I have it in a couple of amps; A PR clone that is easy to lump around and pleasant to listen to, and a bigger 2 x 12" combo variant of an Allen Old Flame amp, for when I need a bit more power/backache.

I really like the reverb on the Quilter Steelaire.

I usually leave my Kendrick tank at home and opt for the heavenly onboard reverb of my SFDR.

I love the reverb on my Ampeg Jet 12 t, it's great for small clubs, but can't handle bigger places.

I've played through a Fender Super Reverb for several decades now- it has my faviest onboard reverb sound of all the amps I've tried out. I DO own a Fender reverb tank but it's actually TOO reverb-y for my sound ! (I like to use it for home recording though...)
But, yeah, I'm totally on board with the onboard !!

I generally like the sound of the integrated Fender reverbs, since it blends very nice and organic into the dry sound. For my ideal of a surfy sound it nevertheless lacks some drip, at least in my silverface amps. So I threw out the noisy tremolo (a have one on the pedalboard anyway) and put in the circuit of the reverb unit. Now I have something similar to skeeters amp, based on a SF-Bandmaster. One item less to carry.

see you at monokinibeach

Depends on the amp. The 3-knob onboard reverb in my Tone King Meteor sounds perfect but the reverb in my Music Man RD112 One Hundred leaves a bit to be desired. I of course prefer my '66 outboard tank but sometimes stage limitations and my own laziness will prevent me from taking it to a gig.

I do) Blues Junior is just enough for me from any side, sound, reverb and other.
