Hey all,
Somebody who was at the show posted two tracks on youtube. Pretty dark and the sound is kinda weak, but it will give you an idea.
First is the opening number: "Buried With Richard". Looks like something happened to that video at the 3 minutes mark.

The other one is "Lawnmower Drag" and no, this is not Ron Jeremy playing bass for us.

Awesome! Man, that looks like it was a great show. Wish I could have been there.

I definetly like Lawnmower Drag better than
Burried with Richard.
the 1st is just a romper,
where the 2nd is more of a surf song.
but I would have dug to have been there to see it all.

Hey Jeff,
"Buried" is in the same vain as "Organ Failure" from the Doomsday cd. The melodic line is done by the Farfisa, with a good helping of Zak's fuzzy friend. The farfisa, when it's the main instrument, is always less surfy than a reverb-drenched number, at least imo.

Oh I agree, and I'd much rather hear that kinda music than hip hop or Boy bands
But I like the songs of Flippin the Bird alot more than the Doomsday Device.
No offense I hope.

Not at all. I don't know if you remember the guys from The Squares. They said the same thing. They prefered Flippin to Doomsday, probably because it was more surfy to them.
As far as writing style goes, Zak is probably the surfiest, Richard is the most garage, and I'm writing my stuff with a mix of SLAAAAAYYYEEEER!!! and Richie Allen in mind. I don't know what that makes me

Doomsday Device is my favorite surf album and only because Flippin' has covers.

My "cd" was a piece of trash compared to Flippin'. Flippin' is probably my 2nd favorite surf album. But Doomsday is the probably the only surf album I listen to fully anymore.
