I think you need to go back to the drawing board.
I agree, sorry. But to be honest, the names of every band I ever played in would not have survived if I'd had a forum like this to check what people thought and get some feedback.

The Dead Ones is kind of cool, but that has to be a zombie band already doesnt it? Im mnot too keen on wearing goulish makeup and fake blood.

i voted for "Sea Lice"

a Sea Louse
from the wikipeadia:
"Sea lice are copepods which parasitise fish. There are two species of sea lice commonly found on cultured salmonids, Caligus elongatus, a species of parasite that infests over fifty different species of marine fish, and Lepeophtheirus salmonis, which infests only salmon and closely related species such as rainbow trout (but current research indicates it may be spread via the three-spined stickleback). Both species are also found on wild salmon. There is widespread concern that sea lice flourishing on salmon farms can spread to nearby wild juvenile salmon and devastate these populations. Sea trout populations in recent years have seriously declined due to infestation by sea lice from salmon farms..."

Danny wrote "The Deadly Ones", not the "Dead Ones". Wasn't The Deadly Ones a real band from the 60's? Great name.
Yes, they were a mid 60s studio group project.

Thanks, I thought that was the name of the group that did "It's Monster Surfing Time".

No shark names, I dont wanna jump the shark with that kind of name. Speaking of Frank Zappa, Dweezil is playing here in July playing all Frank Zappa songs, it should be cool.
So far I like Globster.
Heres a few I found in my abnormal psychology book:
Ant Abuse
The Schizoids
The Downers
Ego-Alien
Fragile X
The Glans (this might refer to glans penis, which is not really cool)

Iron Maiden, why not post a demo so we can get a better perspective on what may work?

Jeff(bigtikidude)
It was 'Call me Stupid' haha funny funny...I was calling it The Cachalots but my drummer is trying to be a pro surfer or something stupid and my rythym guitarist is trying to be a rock star or something stupid so basically I kicked them both out.
Now its just me and a another drummer. The reason for the name change is that its a Filipino custom that if you get really sick, I mean like deathly ill what you do is change your name so that you will become healthy because the bad spirits dont recognize you or something, thats the idea behind it.
Anyway, not that anybody cares but yeah I like Globster.
Ill post a demo as soon as we make one.

I voted for Sea Lice, but Seal Ice was a good variation on that. It also suggested Sea Beggars (pirates) to me. Pack Ice? Ice Packs?
How about Graven Images? You might have to play in a tiki mask. Grave News? (Mike & the) Margraves?
I doubt it would work here, and it's pretty obscure, but somebody one mentioned to me a domestic missionary outfit called the Urban Servants, which came back to me a few minutes later as the Surfin' Urbants.
I'm waiting for a veteran all-female band called Iron Matrons. Clearly that's not going to work here, either.
And then there's Jupiters, because, as everyone knows, "Neptunes was taken." Or any planet you like. (And, by the same logic there's Iron Horsefly, etc.)
Has Spindrift been used?
