Hello! I just got my first Deluxe Reverb reissue. I'm interested in sending more low end into the spring tank to make it flop more when I do palm muted stuff specifically. I had read somewhere once that there's a resistor in front of the reverb tank that acts as a high pass, and can be replaced with a pot to allow more low end to hit the springs. Am I making that up? Anyone know what I'm talking about or what position that resister is at?

There is a reason the bass is filtered out of the reverb circuit. It doesn't sound good. All the good stuff is in the upper frequencies. In fact, a treble booster before the tank will yeild you more drip. Also, the bright switch on some Fender amps is a great help boosting the artifacts of the spring transducer when playing at low volume.

Really? A little more low end won't make the springs flap more? I want it to have more flappy attack so i can turn down the overall reverb level to kill some of the tail.
