Thought I'd just start a placemarker for anyone who survived to include their videos/pics of the event. Didn't see a dedicated thread started for it. Let's see 'em!

Great stuff! Hope that one goes viral; nice testament to what it's about.
And, yes, it sure does seem as if this venue is a big step forward from previous. Thanks for working that up & sharing.

Thank you Chris!

That was a great episode, Chris!
Ran

The Scimitars

That was awesome!
My favorite moment was, when John and Frank started jumping around! Smile

Still hoping for more videos, though! Wink

Great to see - especially for those of us who live a little further away and find it a bit more difficult to be there! Thanks! Looks like a good time was had by all!

That video is incredible! Your camera handled the low light pretty well too.

YES! Thanks so much for posting. Such a great lineup of bands and inspired performances. I'm sure folks who attended are still recovering from the experience.

Thanks guys, I had a blast. Bravo Bigtikidude for a stellar event! Hoping someone caught some of Randy Holden's set because...WOW!

3 videos from the opening band "Hot Rod Trio"

Thank you Dave!

Dave, you've been really good at doing this. I sure hope you have some of every band. Smile

Not from the convention per-se, but Thursday night at Record Surplus. The Bradipos IV perform "A Fistful of Dollars" title theme.

Thanks wfoguy & Jeff.
I've never been to Alpine, so I was experimenting, putting cameras in
different places that weren't too much in the way of the ebb & flow of
everyone. Had varied success with that.

About halfway through the day, I moved my cameras to the
2nd floor, where it was hot, dark & mysterious, filled with
chairs with nobody sitting in them, mannequin parts
and for a brief time, a passed out surf fan.

I do have a few missing video parts that happened when I was
buying merch, socializing, etc.
My Mach4 audio mysteriously recorded only in 1 channel.
Steve Chrome Oxide will let me have a copy of his audio

Possible subject for a future social anthropology dissertation?
Or maybe just a monograph?

Thanks Brian! They kill that; probably my favorite cut on the tribute album. Got a kick out of the sales girl covering her ears & walking away while everyone else is diggin' it.

That "sales girl" has a beard!

I noticed the guy in the pink shirt sticking his fingers in his ears. He works in a record store????? LOL
