Congrats! And it's even one of the nicer ads I have seen recently.

Hope you´ll get paid for using your tune!
A few years ago I phoned Eurosport in Munich asking who and where the decisions are made for underlaying surfing films with music.
The guy told me that this is done in Paris / France.
My French isn´t good enough to do a phone call and negociate.
Maybe here are some members who are willing to phone Eurosport in France and ask them why they don´t use real surf music instead of modern non-surf tunes??? Offer them to help with suggestions!!!

No worries Ruedi, VW does pay for the music.

Nice coup! Congratulations. The added benefit is exposing a lot of folks to surf who might not otherwise hear it.

Some shameless self promotion might be in order. If you like the ad, why not leave a pleasant comment on their Youtube page. It can't hurt the surf music community.

Wow!!! Fantastic, Rev! Congratulations! You guys really deserve this, I'm so happy for you!
Really like the commercial, too - it's very effective! Love this Beetle! What a great color, too - it reminds me of Adrian Smith's signature Jackson Strat, which I think is just gorgeous.

Once again, thank you to everyone for the nice comments here and on the Youtube video. They are appreciated!
Ivan- Adrian Smith's guitar comparison is spot on. Thanks for the pic.
