Try to average it out. Actual time with your hands on your instrument. I'm especially interested in you pro or semi pro guys.
My average is 2-3 hours a day, five days a week.
Thx!

Maybe 5 hrs a week total between band practices and sitting goofing at home. I try to pick up a guitar every day but dont some days ...and it's within arms reach . |

I probably play about 2 to 3 hours a day. Being retired, I can pick my guitar up at a moment's notice and wail until I get bored. Although, I did have a guitar in my office at work for the last 10 years or so before I retired. Boss didn't care. He was too busy watching international soccer games, tennis and basketball. Several times lately I have played for almost 6 hours straight. Regardless of one's ability, not too much rivals noodling around on your guitar. ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

Between everything I am ashamed to say there are weeks that I only pick it up when/if we practice. I'm probably averaging three hours a week. It's a shame that I didn't really want to start really working at it until I had so little time left. —The Mystery Men? |

Since I got a dog... Half hour a day, hour on weekend days. Before that... 1-3 hours a day, 2-3 hours on a weekend day. In 30 minute to 1.5 hour chunks. |

Anywhere from 1-3 hours a day. But it's not uncommon that I'll go a week without touching it or any other instrument. Practicing, as in working to improve my skill set... Not nearly enough. |

Up to an hour a day. Sometimes play before going to work in the morning if I'm trying to remember something. |
