That's what I thought. I saw it somewhere online. They were unveiled at the NAMM Summer show. It was a complete line of late fifties tweeds, supposed to be RIs. All I remember was the Deluxe, Pro, Twin, and one other smaller amp. No "star" names attached. Like the originals.

Ivan,
Yes, that's the low powered tweed Twin they released.
The Hi Power, later version is a different amp. One of the best Fender amps ever made.
Cheers,
Jeff

Jeff, my post wasn't in response to your wish - it was in response to Strat-o-Rama who didn't specify the version of the tweed Twin.
Ah, gotcha.
Sorry and thanks!

Sorry Ivan and Jeff. I did not hear which version of Twin. I'm sure we'll find out in due time.

Ah Ha! Found it! It was an ad from Sweetwater. Tweed amps from 1957. The Twin has 1 12in. Eminence and is 40 watts. The little guy is an 8 watt Champ.

On their 6L6 powered amps, use of tapped pots in the tone circuit for provisioning of a Presence control and then ditch the bright switch. Probably never happen; lots of manufacturing processes would need to be modified.
I do miss my Princeton Reverb-II. Forgetting the pull-switches & gain modes that I really didn't use, that was a kick-ass amp on its own and almost felony-loud.

I'll second djangodeadman, on the Fender Electric XII. It'd also be nice, if they brought back the Stratocaster XII.

I don't know where this tweed pro 1x15 came from, not on Fender's site, but somehow available through Private Reserve.
Wish list, AV '65 Jazzmaster and '65 Strat in Lake Placid Blue with white pickguard, Surf Green with white or mint PG, Silver with anodized silver PG, black with tortoise shell PG. As others said, please more color options.
JD McPherson plays through an amp somewhat like a 1x15 Tweed Pro. I love his tones.

I'll second that! Guitar-wise, I'm purdy satiated by Fender's post 2012 Stratocaster American Vintage line - but I'm into the maple necks on which the series is more heavily devoted. I guess I would like to see them do an AV '59 or '60 Jazzmaster complete with the clay dots. The '62 AVRI Jazzmaster from the 2000's was very nice but had white markers (picky picky!).
