Ok, guys, you win the lottery, an unknown rich aunt kicks off and you're the sole beneficiary, whatever - money's not an issue. What's your ultimate gear wish list?

(Just to keep things sane, lets say you get three guitars, 2 amps, and 5 "other" (effects, toys, etc).

What'll ya have?

well:

mosrite V88

and maybe one of those Soldano Surf Boxes, just to see what the big deal is.

and a Space Echo tape delay...

that sounds good for now
-dp

a vintage showman

www.surfintheeye.com

66 Jazzmaster in Sunburst
Vintage Jag w/matching White headstock
Pearl White Mosrite

Showman cab done right.
Fender Vibroking

One of the Line Six delay things even though they break really easily. The backwards echo is nuts.
Tubescreamer(real deal)
Good Tremolo
Vintage Tank?
RI Tank(backup)

I would buy talent. Razz

The Mystery Men?
El Capitan and The Reluctant Sadists
SSS Agent #31

I'd like a nice vintage Oly White Jag, an American reissue Oly White Jag, a Bandmaster, a Showman, a Farfisa, some good vintage mics, and.....what the hay, a Theremin.

Were that I could buy talent...but in my lack thereof, I'd substitute the following high-dollar thingies...

Guitars (with all the Jags & Jazzmasters on the list I figured I'd go in the opposite direction):
A TNM Custom single-neck Maphis (at one point on the site there was a pic of an-as-yet-completed single-neck version of the Dekester's Maphis mostrosity).
A Mosrite VIII (the carved-top one with 3 pups, like Brian Lonbeck's).
*Some sort of cool Bill Grugett/Bob Shade Hallmark custom concoction

Effects (I'm a big latter-day MOAM fan, so noisy sci-fi sounds rule):
Moogerfooger All-in-One #2 (Low Pass filter, Ring Mod, MuRF)
Moog Etherwave Theremin
Fulltone Tube Tape Echo
An original 60's Fender reverb tank

Amps:
Standel 100UL15
vintage Fender Dual Showman amp/cab

And I would never want for gear again...I think...probably...

The Disasternauts

At least one blond dual showman with red oxblood grill cloth (brownface, not blackface).
At least 2 blond dual showman cabs (red oxblood grill cloth).
At least 2 blond + red oxblood grill cloth reverb unit.
Possibly some smaller blond amps, just in case
1 FuzzBrite
1 Echo Plex (or maybe more becasue they break)
1 vintage Jazzmaster (at least 1, I already have an AV reissue)
1 Jag barritone with a Jag/JM tremolo.
1 American Jag with a JM scale neck.
1 Mosrite with a longer scale neck (JM length)
1 Mosrite Barritone
Some sort of multi-bypass loop switcher so everything could be played but switched out of the signal chain if needed.
Various clean boost pedals (for boosting the signal after the reverb unit or other volume robbing effects, and for solos).

A vintage tube RCA theremin
A slide theremin (Electro-theremin/Tanerin) - so I can actually play it

The Scimitars

Oh, I like this.... nice to dream.

1962 blonde Showman with oxblood grill cloth with a 15" JBL D130 in the cab.

1962 Fender Reverb tank, blonde with oxblood cloth.

1962 Jazzmaster Olympic White, matching headstock.

1962 Jaguar, Fiesta Red with matching headstock (in case I break a string!).

Reese Witherspoon in a bikini as my guitar tech.

That's all. Not asking too much, am I?

Reese Witherspoon is a nice touch...
