Permalink Custom Made Reverb unit Enclosure (Unfinished)

New Topic

I recently had a reverb enclosure made for me by the woodworker at Verellen Amplifiers. I had just bought an unfinished G-Spring board and chassis from Dario, but was enclosure-less. We ended up with an extra box because the woodworker cut two pieces of everything while making mine just in case a dovetail went bad. My box turned out 100% however and so we have an extra...

Soooo...it's an unfinished and un-piloted reverb enclosure dovetailed with birch ply.
I have included photos of the unfinished box that's for sale. I also have included the one I finished for reference (also showing it off a bit).

Note the depth of the box is 1/2" deeper than other reverb enclosures. That allowed us to use half inch for the the back panel. Less floppiness, plus that depth gels better with our dovetails. Your chassis will still fit just fine.

Was thinking $150 obo

Leaving on tour for about a week on Tuesday. Would love to sell and ship beforehand.

Wow, that's really nice work. Being a trad FOG if I were putting a Surfy Bear together or didn't already have a G-Spring that would be the ticket.
Thanks for the finish pics & good luck!
Cool

Thanks Badger! It was a really fun project.

Nice work!

That looks cool. Perfect for someone wanting a surfy bear fet.

Or perfect for somebody with a working gspring chassis tucked into the bottom of their amp...

Looks good!
