The Pyronauts do Moby Dick!

Sadly I don't have a recording of it... But my old Spy/Rock band Z.O.W.I.E. Did a pretty cool version of "the immigrant song!" Just imagine that iconic Plant vocal wail played on an old B3 & you get the picture!

I wanted to do a Whole Lotta Love cover this next show cycle as I learned the solo and came up with a fun arrangement that wasn't a straight up verse/chorus/verse/etc cover of the song, but we only have two practice scheduled so we aren't.

Pollo Del Mar did a really nice medley of "Four Sticks"/"Moon Over Marin"/ "Devil's Slide" on "live in Japantown".

Bob

Pollo Del Mar did Four Sticks, it's on the Live In Japan Town CD.

Bernard Yin's band Brazil 2001 did the Immigrant Song, but I don't think they recorded it.

Four Sticks! Bongwater covered that tune too.
Those young kids from the Bay Area who played the Acton Kustom Kar show with Boss Fink in 2013 or 14 did a kick ass version of Moby Dick.

Thank about Zep's influences - plenty of the same things as influenced surf, just recombined differently with different gear and a blond guy screaming over the top of it. Bonham's roots are definitely Big Band and R&B.

Squink Out!

Bernard's band band the Migs recorded it for a 45.
