"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

Yeaaaaa,! I am going to be there this Sunday! Finially permitted to get out of the house!
If you're there look for a white bearded man in a folding rocking chair. I'll have a life guard type of straw hat on. Stop and say hi. My name is Joel. I'm still alive!
Most likely sitting with some young ladies. Groovy Groovy

Hey Joel, sadly I'll not be there this Sunday,
Leaving for Italy for Surfer Joe fest that morning.
Such is life, Matt Quilter of Reventlos will be hosting the day for me.

Brian,
It has been discussed elsewhere,
in the Convention thread I believe.
Band is,
John Blair - Jon n Nightriders guitar
Jonpaul Balak - Insect Surfers- bass
Duff Paulson - Torquays - drums
Brian Kasan - Tikiyaki Orchestra - Keys
???? Forget his name, Of new surf band the Zip Guns - Sax
Plus maybe a special guest rhythm guitarist

Hey Jeff I'll maybe catch you another time.
Italy! WOW!
Have a great time!

It's "Paulsen"
It's "Kassan"
And The Zip Guns are NOT Surf. They're a Las Vegas Grind/Titty Shaker/Gritty Rock N' Roll/Growlin' Sax kinda band. Their extremely talented Saxophone player is named Keven Brennan
(all of these facts could've been checked in a matter of seconds. Don't you know how to use that fancy computer everyone spent all that money on for you?)
Picard Face Palm

Insect Surfers
The Tikiyaki Orchestra
The Scimitars
Lords Of Atlantis
Fiberglass Jungle - Surf Radio

Sorry Sir,
I posted quickly durring the day from my phone.
And I usually only get on the computer to do my show.
It'll last forever!!!!!

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Oh and the Zip Guns told me they were surf.

Thanks Matt!

These shows look like they'll be worth seeing.
Is there any likelihood of these shows appearing on YouTube, or somewhere?

Gerrym,
Dave F is the guy to go see on his Youtube Channel. He films them year after year. He has a few from the first show up now: Jetpack and The Eliminators and is sure to have more on the way. Just go to Youtube and type "Dave F" to bring up his channel and then go look beyond the default page that comes up right away. If you subscribe to his channel you will see them as soon as he posts them. Anyway, here is what he shot of us: https://surfguitar101.com/forums/topic/27825/?page=3

Thanks Jetpack Dan.
All I have from the May pier show is Jetpack & Eliminators.

Still working on the Suzy Surf Stomp stuff, will post
What I have so far This weekend & add to it later.

Should be a great pier show this Sunday

Thanks guys, look forward to seeing what there is.

Sunday June 12th show was a hit,,In my books. All the bands put out lots of great sounds.
Overcast most of the day, but for us mountain high white skins it was just right. The sun did come out later in the day, and I burned a little.
Matt Quilter did a great job of hosting.
Over all a great day at the beach and Surfing Sunday.

SandBlast wants to say thanks for having us on the show. We had a great time. Thanks to Matt,Jeff, the Museum, and of course, our fellow musicians!

Glad to hear it went well.
Any videos?
How was the turnout?

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Dave F was there taking video as always, so I'm sure he'll post something. I was there for Sandblasts set and again for Jon and the Trespassers and Slacktone (had to run some errands in between) and there was a pretty good sized crowd, especially later in the day. It was a bit cool and overcast early but cleared up later. Matt did a great job, things seemed to be running smoothly.
