Bumping this thread for those who may not have seen it AND as a reminder that The Phantom Four tour of the West Coast begins this coming Friday night in Seattle, followed by Portland on Saturday and the big Bay Area shindig on Sunday. The band will also appear on KFJC on Monday afternoon at about 2pm PST (followed by Messer Chups). Don't know about y'all, but the excitement is growing. And, that's just the first four days. —www.johnblair.us Last edited: Aug 02, 2016 18:59:42 |

In 7,5 hours our flight leaves for Seattle where we will meet with our friend, the surf legend John Blair! After stocking some gear on Wednesday we will be in the rehearsal studio on Thursday and Friday to kick off our tour with a radio show at KEXP and a show with The Boss Martians on Friday night. We are extremely thrilled to be making this trip and hope to see our American friends at one or more of these shows. —Niels Jansen To submit your surf music to North Sea Surf Radio send the tracks as .mp3 in 320kbps bitrate with correct tags to playlist@northseasurfradio.com via Dropbox. Stunningly good show last night in Portland. John melds with the Phantom Four so well and the Jon & the Nightriders material interspersed in the set really works. Everyone is in for a treat with this tour! Carol couldn't believe what she got to see. The Pynnacles pumped out a great garage/psych set to close the show. So different seeing non-Jaguars in Dave and Scott Pilgrims' hands :) —Rick |
