I am trying to find the original soundtrack, but from the reviews I've seen, this is a re-recording. Is the original still available? And, is the re-recording good enough otherwise? I always enjoy the soundtrack when watching the documentary. Thanks!

And a Ski Album both on the cd. I believe the label is called Raven.

There are two ways to get the original recordings on CD.
One is the Japanese import version, which is a re-issue of the original Liberty records release:

The second is the box set by Raven Records that includes not only the original soundtrack, but 8 non-LP singles and the much lesser known 1969 LP The Last Of The Ski Bums.

The Tikiyaki Orchestra
The Scimitars
Lords Of Atlantis
Fiberglass Jungle - Surf Radio

I'm gonna order a copy of the Raven version. I found a used copy via the Amazon marketplace. Thanks!
