Tony,
It's cool with me. I have appropriated plenty of vintage art for posters. It is just kind of funny to see my own work used.
And, as WR mentioned, Mel of the Mel-tones is an active member here on SG101.
Have a great show,
Ferenc

Finally got around to reading all the posts regards the Longboards. Their communication hasn't been overwhelming, but I'm pretty sure we are set up like so...
Thursday, July 5th: 4:00pm The Longboard
(They need to play a quick 45 minute set if they need to be in OC by 8:00pm at the Doll Hut)
Thursday, July 5th: 5:00pm till as long as they want to play. (Pete Markel, the DJ that follows me, has graciously given up his time slot to allow The Pyronauts as much time as they want... This'll be fun!)
FYI: Thursday, June 21st, 4-5pm... Mike Vernon of 3 Balls of Fire
Thursday, June 28th, 4-6pm... Dusty Watson, (hits drums with sticks)
Studio line: 619-594-6982 or email me in advance with questions/comments for any of these guys....

No problem with the time here. The Doll Hut show starts at 8PM but will have Glasgow Tiki Shakers and OuterWave putting in a set each. Longboards do not need to be there before 10 PM. They can leave San Diego at around 7:30 PM and traffic should be much lighter by then. Please remind them to go Interstate 5 NORTH.

Thanks Ferenc, really enjoy the artwork, the colors used are great and separates it from the usual "man on a surfboard" stuff.

Everyone,
Just got back from Greece and trying to get reaquainted with reality. Here are some additional dates I saw listed on the Lonboards' MySpace site:
Jul 4 2007 8:00P
LF Café Bar, Calle 6 y Constitución + Los Adixion TIJUANA-MEXICO Tijuana- Mexico
Jul 5 2007 6:00P
CLINT BEACHWOOD radio live show- SD-CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO, California
Doug, could you add these to the kick ass poster you did?
Also, it looks like they are showing up in LA on Sunday, July 1st. I will be picking them up at the airport but we are still trying to find them accomodations. I have overdone the surf band hostel thing with my girlie and if somebody else can help out with some carpet camping space, that would be great. I think these guys are on a total budge trip so any help putting the guys up would be wonderful.
Let em know....
Cheers,
Ted

They can stay with me from 7/3 to 7/6 or maybe even 7/7 in the morning.
I live 30 minutes from the Doll Hut and a a little less than an hour from Suzy's. Are they beer drinkers?, just tell them to stay away from my single malts. Just kidding. I am having a jam party at my house on Saturday so there should be lots of leftover food and beer.

Thanks Tony! I'll see if I can convince Jane to have them stay with us the 1st and 2nd. If not, maybe Tiki Jeff's place.
The 4th they are supposed to be in Tijuana, then the afternoon of the 5th on Clint's show. They should probably stay in San Diego the night of the 4th, then come back up to the evening of the 5th for the Doll Hut show and stay again with you.
That leaves:
The night of the 7th through 10th in LA/OC
Night of the 11th in SD after the Zombie Lounge show
The 12th through the 15th in LA/OC
Little help???
Man, we need to start a travel agency for surf bands...
