Permalink North Sea Surf Radio to move voting for countdown lists to Google Forms

StickyNew Topic

With the popularity of the countdown lists at North Sea Surf Radio rising the number of votes coming in keeps on growing. Though the number of votes via SG101 has decreased there has been a steady increase of votes coming in via email. Processing these hundreds of emails and all individual posts on SG101 has proven to be more and more time consuming.

In order to prepare for an ever growing number of future votes we have decided to move our voting mechanism to Google Forms. This enables us to export all data to a spreadsheet which will make it a lot easier for us to calculate the final results of each list.

You can always find the Form of the next upcoming list at the new VOTE! page on our website.

We encourage all members of the Surfguitar101 community to keep on sharing their personal Top 10's in the appropriate threads but would like to point out that lists need to be inserted on our website to count.

We are confident that this new way of voting is a step forward for the voters and our radiostation. If you encourage any problems voting please let us know in this thread.

Thanks for your understanding.

Cheers,

Niels Jansen
