January Birthdays 
My surf band finally worked our way up to 25 songs and are performing nearly all of them in full surf glory on Saturday, March 12th in Austin, Texas at the Nomad Bar. (1213 Corona Dr, Austin, TX 78723) This is in conjunction with the "Surf-By-Surfwest" festival and we're excited to be opening it all up at 10:00pm that evening.
We are a little different than traditional surf bands. The four of us also play in two different local rock bands! We have managed to not only learn and perform classic surf songs with dripping reverb, but also convert classic rock/metal tunes into a surf-y way. "No distortion pedals were used during the making of these songs"! 
I hope to see some members of this forum at the show. Appearing after us are Austin's "Boss Jaguars" at 11:15pm and "King Pelican" at 12:30am.
