I'll start, since the in-law visit was over a week ago, and the kids & little ones just left. (I fulfilled my job description, which is to sugar-up the hell out of the little ones, give 'em toys, and send 'em home with their parents.)
One thing that was really sweet (they were thinking) was they decided there was an empty space on the wall behind the guitars upstairs. So they located a nice quality sign, raised lettering/graphics. Yup, they were right; fits pretty good.

Kicker is the Mrs. remarked, "Suppose now you'll have to have a Fiesta Red Strat to fit in..."
Hasn't she learned after all these decades that's like telling me to start shopping in 2016....?

So far so food,my first two guitar related gifts! Both of which are awesome may I add....even though I just got the spring king I'm still gonna pull the trigger on a surfy bear in a few days after bills come out!

Santa brought Ed an new Focusrite Scarlett computer interface for the "re-gifted" Mac that has relocated from upstairs down to the "Boatwerx." Mrs K got a new kick ass Mac with retina display to supersede the baby Mac that Ed has inherited.
No more cheesy CD burning on the toy burner.
Merry Christmas all and best Holiday Reverbs!

Boy, that "tree" does rock. A whole lot of really creative people around these parts.

That sign looks great Badge. I have a vintage go kart bud in LA that has a vintage kart hanging over his fireplace. His wife apparently didn't think that was too appropriate so he mounted a clock in the floor pan. My kinda guy.

Good luck with that one, Wes! Those fiesta red Strats are rarer than hen's teeth - and priced to match! (John Blair spent months looking for one last year before simply having the custom shop make one for him!)

They also do the Classic 60's in CAR & LPB (rosewood) and the 50's (maple board) in Fiesta. Vintage pups, radius & frets, pretty nice for the $$$. I keep wanting a maple board "just because" but CAR qualifies as "red" also I guess & usually prefer rosewood, don't seem to get the tactile thing with maple, maybe haven't played maples enough. I'll need to make one of those dedicated guitar racks if I don't watch out.
