Hello SG101. I wanted to make this thread for everyone who ever purchased gear from Gomez Amps. Dario left his legacy within the surf community and his commitment to excellence will never be forgotten. If you have any pictures, sound clips or memories you would like to share, please post them within this thread.

Dan, this is a great idea.
I'll post a pic as soon as my G-Spring gets here; might be the last Blonde/Oxblood.

I never had the pleasure of owning one but every single Gomez I've ever heard sounded fantastic, so Cheers to Dario for touching so many musicians lives and helping them do what they do.
Highest regards,
Jeff

Ivan,
those are some amazing pics! The fenner logo one is super cool.
Wes,
please do! Yes, You will be the last owner of an Blonde/Oxblood. I think Dario has only has 1 US and 1 Euro Daphne blue G-Spring left. I ordered the last Surf Green. It made sense for me obviously to complete my matching set. Even though the blue ones look so awesome. I am hoping someone picks up the last ones for the holidays. It would help Dario a lot and give someone the best outboard reverb unit you can find.
I Hope both you guys holiday was great,
Dan

Here's my Gomez collection. The Surfer head, 2x15" cabinet and G-Spring reverb tank in the first picture were Eddie Bertrand's. The El Sonido head in the second picture was his too. I was lucky to be able to get them. The blonde with wheat grill G- Spring reverb unit started this madness for me. Great great stuff!

Beautiful Chris. I clearly recall a portion of Eddie's interview with Tikitena where he talks about these specific amps and what is known as the G-Spring tank. Tasty stuff.

I didn't get to buy it directly from Dario. But this amp is truly very special. Please forgive the non-Gomez tank in the picture. It's the best photo I have at the moment.

Great photo Noel (and we well know the provenance of the JM).
Now get back to work, unless you need to take your 'medicine'...

OK, in the overdue "pics or it didn't happen" department...
As long as we're paying tribute, folks who've received gear from Dario are probably familiar with this first picture. He packs stuff such that you could airdrop it out the tailgate of a C-130. It's like a vault for a reverb tank. (The grenade wasn't needed after all & I didn't want shards of insulation all over the room.) No reverb was harmed in the taking of that picture.
Here are a couple of the obligatory "gut shots" - what the guts should look like.
Yes, it really is Lighting yellowed it but true color in the final pic.
And finally home. (This also constitutes my Vox NAD pic, my Stratorama pic, and "pic to be named later thread" pic.
The quality of the sound & build of this reverb unit is simply amazing.
Thank you Dario & Salud!

lol @ the grenade. I soooo know what you mean. I think when I got my G-Reverb back in '06 maybe? I probably could have thrown the box off my roof and nothing would have happened to the package.

Just out of curiosity for G-Spring owners, what is your sweet spot on the settings?
I think we should actually talk about the equipments functionality here too. Like the one stop-shop thread for anything Gomez related.
