The Irreversible Slacks from NY. I Saw them live about 13-years ago. Amazing live show and killer performance!

Liked it!

What happened to them?

I've heard of them! Or was that the Reversable Slacks? Shoot. Now what?

OH! Now I get it- They're utterly fantastic! Nice Uma Thurman dance-alike contest they have going on there. And the band has sweet moves too!

Way cool playing! Hot dancing girls – who'd a' thought? Like the song title too. Slightly un-PC.

Squink Out!

I kinda liked it too. I wonder if they can pull that off for a full 45 minute set?

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Cool!!!!
Great song and performance, yes!
...I want to know the name and address of the dancing girl next to the band. What is she doing today?

Twang cheers!

It's cool when you google bands and you get hits on SG101. Here is a post from 2003 from the Yahoo Group days by TooFastJim of the Nebulas about this band:

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

I used to correspond with their drummer a fair amount back in the mid-to-late-'90s. He actually got a PhD in political science, and at least for a while taught at Cornell University.

Cool thread!

they were an amazing band

I was lucky enough to book them at a club in Lincoln Center (yeah, for real -- did 2 shows there) -- called "MAKOR"

they changed the fellow who was booking shows there, and that was that, as the club wished 'to move in another direction'

how many times have some of you heard that one??
