I'm kind of on the fence about Eastwoods, but this one is damn cool -

Is this the axe for the inimitable Shaggs tone? I was wondering what they were talking about.

I appreciate the aesthetics of Eastwood guitars but they feel Chinese to me – made of generic parts, and not all that cheap really. I played a Sidejack baritone and felt nothing was happening – even through a $4000 Fender "Eric Clapton" amp.

That's where I'm at too - I bought an Eastwood Ichiban at one time and never warmed up to it. It looked great but played and sounded so-so. Plus it was neck heavy - let go and it would point to the floor Confused .

I think it's all the unhappy slaves making the guitars. The devil is in the details, no matter how many CNC machines are used.

I think it's important to note that the pictures he uses are of original guitars, not prototypes of his guitar he will be selling. The guitar you get will "sort of" look like this one.
