Permalink Bass plyr looking to join or start surf band in OC/LA area

Former "Aquanaut" bass player is having a hell of a time trying to put together or join a surf band. Anything from cover "jam" band, to balls out gigging "originals" band...open minded, but prefer something original and intense.

Live in OC but willing to get together in LA or parts of IE.

Drug free, have gear, transpertation, can play, and not too flaky.

Hi, any response yet on your post. I am surprised that nobody has responded since just about everybody I know in the SoCal community plays some kind of instrument. I know a guitar player who wants to get together with a band.

I am looking for someone to do more instrumentals with. My current band takes priority, but none of the members are really into doing any thing that is just surf. We are always mixing in other genre (mainly punky stuff), so we are a vocal band that is more horror surf than anything else.

Anyways, I am in Oceanside. I have clients up around Irvine as well as my wife works up there. Maybe we can work some sort of jam or something.
