It's hard to imagine (Impossible, actually) what Rock and Roll and specifically Surf Music would be like without all of those wonderful Fender goodies!!! Jaguars and Jazzmasters, Strats, Bandmasters, Showmans, Reverb Boxes to kick....

I happened to go to an open mic tonight to see a friend, and Bill Kirchen was there (!) He played this love song to the Telecaster, "Hammer of the Honky Tonk Gods". Seems appropriate for Leo's B'day.

Mr. Fender's new "Spanish Guitar" epitomized. I think given his love of steel & music from the Pacifica region he would also continue to be pleased with what folks do with the Strat as well, using that bar as intended.
