I see a lot of familiar names here on this message board! I'm not sure why I haven't registered here before!

My name is Derek M. Koch, and I'm the producer of the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Film Award-winning Monster Kid Radio (http://www.monsterkidradio.net), where we celebrate the classic, and sometimes not-so-classic, genre cinema of yesteryear. I release two new episodes a week - every Tuesday and Thursday - and I love it! I've got 200+ episodes under my belt (and have been podcasting various shows since 2008), and am having a blast.

And part of the reason for that is because I like to open and close every episode with instrumental surf! (What is it that makes surf music and classic monsters go so well together?)

The Monster Kid Radio podcast is free to download and stream through iTunes, Stitcher, and our website. The podcast is supported through a Patreon page and we may feature ads in the future, but we will never charge our listeners to download a regular episode of the Monster Kid Radio podcast.

The shownotes of every episode of Monster Kid Radio includes the name of the band whose music appeared in that episode, the name of the song and album, and a link to the band's website. I always encourage my listeners to visit those websites and "tell them that Monster Kid Radio sent you!"

I also maintain a "master list" of every song and band that's appeared on the show here: http://www.monsterkidradio.net/p/bandssongs.html

Of course, if your music appears on Monster Kid Radio and you have any upcoming releases, events, shows, etc., I'm always happy to let my listeners know about that, too.

If you'd be interested in sharing your music with the Monster Kid Radio audience, please drop me a line! Thanks!

Monster Kid Radio is your podcast devoted to the classic, and sometimes not-so-classic, genre cinema of yesteryear!
