Up for sale, a rare as hen's teeth ISP Vector SL Steve Lukather subwoofer, 300W 1x12 model.
This is a subwoofer designed specifically for guitar. It's the same size and shape as a guitar 2x12 so fits nicely in a stack. It's tuned and ported to deliver frequencies
New these retailed for $1,500 in the states. There's one on ebay USA for $900 right now. Not sure what the UK retail price was.
It features a built in crossover and amp so it filters out only the low frequencies and channels the mids and highs to your regular guitar cab. It has a volume control on the back so you can adjust the amount of bass response, as well as using the bass control on your amp.
It's super simple, you just run the speaker out from your amp into the Vector, then from that into your regular cab.
Delivers a really tight solid bass. Honestly, the difference is unbelievable. selling only Because I'm switching to a stereo rig with two full range cabinets.
Your might think this is for metal chuggers and doom merchants but I play surf and rockabilly with an experimental edge and this was perfect for added thunk.
