Our drummer came up with the idea of doing this one and it seems to work pretty well. Recorded in a sound stage on their backline. All comments welcome. Thanks for watching!

Very cool - it seems to me that 80's and 90's pop and new wave could be mined like this - just some great melodic tunes from that time that would sound perfect given the surf treatment. This sounds great - good job guys!

Elvis Costello's stuff would be a great place to start...

Very good.

This song always reminds me of a 1962/63 Merseybeat style too.

I call dibs on "Mystery Dance". This will be part of a ridiculous side project I have planned. Compilation album of about a dozen bands, working title "Da Vinci Flinglestein Presents: Songs From Outside the Outer Limits-Bands You'll NEVER Hear Again". I don't have the band list handy but I know the Feztones are covering the Costello song calling it "Mystery Lounge". And yes, I will masquerade as all of the bands on the album. It just makes it easier to secure rights.

Nicely done, and great recording. I like the idea of covering some 80's stuff as instrumentals.

This is fun! And I love the idea of surfing 80's and 90's pop tunes.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Great rendition and the guitar tone is fantastic !

Great job!
I really enjoyed that.
We talked about covering "Call Me" a few years ago but still haven't got around to it yet.

Cheers,
Jeff

A band from Canada a few years back did a Medley of Call me, and Children of the Grave by Black Sabbath, and called it "Call Me Evil"
They worked together and it was awesome.
