Hi Guys , My names Levi , Im from Bali ..., just thought id share this Surf inspired tune with you guys.
I Just Remastered this original song on my computer; RIDE THE WILD SURF ..., off our old unfinished Demo Cassette ( from the band; The Population > Australia, Early 1990's) , Unfortunately ..., its impossible to remix those songs , as all we got (back then) was a "budget 2 track stereo version" on a cassette tape that was taken straight from the recording session - with only a 5 minute "quick mix" applied LOL.
.... But at least NOW the old 2 track cassette version has a new lease of life, with some added Stereo Widening (BX Digital V2) , better EQ (Fabfilter Q2) , and very mild Compression and limiting (Slate FGX) ..., to make it a bit sound more punchy and less muddy than it was before.
