Permalink FOR SALE: 2003 AVRI Fender Jazzmaster Neck w/ Tuners

Call me a goofball but I went and bought this USA Jazzmaster 62 RI neck last night and lo and behold - it doesn't fit my guitar.

It is a gorgeous neck - I could not resist the moment I held it in my hands. Very slim - profile must be one of those 7.5"ers but I am no expert on that. Fretboard is a really deep dark rosewood and it has the old style medium sized frets. Totally Vintage all the way. Trussrod adjust is at the heel and there is no skunkstripe. The Kluson tuners on here are nice and tight - I was tempted to pluck them off for my other guitar but thought that would be mean to the spirit of this beautiful neck.

So I put it on CL and will post it on eBay tomorrow - but for now I am offering it to you guys. Follow the link below to check out the picks and give me a call if you are interested. Jim C 818-634-6040 cell.

I got this in a Fender neck box with tons of foam so I can ship it anywhere in the USA for about and extra $12- $15.

I ended up selling this neck on ebay for a tidy profit. Used the proceeds to upgrade my Champ 12 with new JJ's and a few of the Torres Mods.

It all worked out in the end since I took off the old neck, sanded the pocket, shimmed it - replaced the bridge and lowered the action - and lo and behold I am now pretty happy with the playability on this Chinese JM knockoff - I guess I got lucky on this one.
