Happy Birthday Dick Dale! Hear part 1 of our interview with Dick Dale as well as a birthday greeting from Mike Love who along with the rest of The Beach Boys used to open up for him in their early days. We also hear new tracks from Joe Bonamassa, The Sonics and rockers from the Gretsch Brothers and Jack Rabbit Slim on this week's Rockabilly N Blues Radio Hour!

Awesome interview. "Country is my life" "I wanted to be a cowboy singer". Indeed, Dick Dale and his Rhythm Wranglers! Dick talking passionately about his start as a country performer years before he became the King of Surf Guitar is something he rarely, if ever, does. Great to hear. Then he says he coined the term Rockabilly! Gotta love him. This is a must listen! Happy B-Day to the great Dick Dale!

Thanks for sharing that! I'd never heard "In My Arms" like that - that was outta hand. And they had to be havin' a blast.
