February Birthdays 
1962 recording artists The Showmen will be back on stage at Romano's at the Canyon Crest Town Center, 5225 Canyon Crest Dr, Riverside, CA.
If you rocked out at the Uptown Y in Berdoo, San Bernardino Municipal Auditorium in Berdoo, Riverside Armory or Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, Harmony Park or The Rendezvous in the early sixties, then you danced to the Showmen's tunes.
We are a First Wave band, so, although everyone in the band now has gray hair, we won't be needing a wheel chair to get on stage and get everyone stomping, just like we did in 1962.
With the exception of playing a few tunes written by Joe Kurkowski, (in my opinion the best surf writer to come out of the Third Wave) our gig list remains as it was from 1961-64 when surf music reigned the airwaves and dance halls.
