Permalink Crazy Aces - Lazy Aces?

We're gearing up for our first, quiet, in store, coffee house style gig this weekend at a record store day event. We've always wanted to create an additional version of the band for such shows and occasions but this will be our first attempt. There's a lot more to work out arrangement wise but here's a fun rehearsal video link. You can tell we're a bunch of working stiffs that just had a long day but it's still fun.

Now that is some nice stuff. I was worried you would all be playing acoustics. Great guitar tones and playing!

Ok, now THAT looked like it was fun. (Uh, Kiwamu looks like he's got a bad case of cubicle-itis and needed to unload with some guitar playing so, yeah, working stiffs works.)

Jeff you should toss some of this together for the next record or a download option with purchase of the album. This stuff is too cool.
Cool

This is a very good idea. We've talked about doing an acoustic busking type thing in downtown Eugene, OR. I'm inspired to try it after seeing this.

For those who asked, here's some video from this weekend.
We had a lot of fun. Extended some endings into 60's jams, did a few unrehearsed numbers and even had an elderly gentleman come in and unexpectedly sing "Stormy Monday Blues" with us and he was awesome!
Not quite in our material or stylistic list but it was quite entertaining.
We learned a lot and are looking forward to booking more of these type of gigs to fill in the schedule and also reach a wider audience.
Thanks again for any interest and all previous comments

Just recycling a Crazy Aces topic (there were a lot to pick from) to say I heard em on the Shrunken Head Lounge- Or is it Otto's Shrunken Head? Anyways Noodles (I know I got that part right) spun the entire Surfadelic Spy A-Go-Go album on Surf Rock Radio and it was just really cool hearing it on the air, wherever the air is.

Those Aces be CRAZY!
