I know the bridge pickup problem. But thats where the limiter of the Quilter MP200 comes in.

Ok I had some fun with my little 1x15" cabinet. I closed its back (with proper vibration absorbing material inside and nice brown tolex cover).
I just finished a comparison with a Supersonic 60 + 2x12" cabinet (a very good amp if you ask me... the best that Fender does nowadays) and this little cabinet with the Supersonic head sounds incredible. I manage to keep the supersonic at 10 volume Smile on the Vibrolux configuration.

My Brownface Showman head was smelling burning yesterday, needs to go to the doctor after 3 years of intensive usage. Apparently the controller of the bias is going and tubes are overheating... s I will go to Spain with this little cabinet and the quilter tone block.

Lorenzo, try wiggling the power tubes around in the sockets to see if a bad connection on that low negative voltage pin is causing a ruckus with your amp.

That bias is normally around -55V dc I believe.

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?
