This year, the Pilgrims are looking forward to their newest release, FRANKENSTOMP!!, a compilation of singles, rarities and castaways.
The album will be release just before the Surfer Joe Summer Festival (Italy) in middle June and will be available at the show!

Ah, no reply on this? I yesterday booked a hotel-room in Amsterdam, today I bought the tickets for the train - looking forward to see the Pilgrims playing in Amsterdam too!  (and just 5 days till Livorno)

We have all returned home from a great tour!
We want to thank all of the great bands we played with along the way-Watang!, Diabolico Coupe, The Hicadoolas, and Los Venturas! Such great players and fantastic people who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We are still blown away!
And then there is Lorenzo. I have been in and out of this business for almost 30 years and there have been a lot of things that have happened to us that have made me a bit cynical, including our last tour of Europe in 1999. Lorenzo Valdambrini has single-handedly changed that. He must have thought I was one suspicious mf'er in our early exchanges, but why would I trust that someone would do so much out of the kindness of their heart and all for the love of surf music? Well, it all turned out to be true and beyond. We all know he is some kind of superhuman being for pulling off the festival and making so many surf fans happy, but he also managed to put together an ace tour for us the week after and we were well taken care of the whole time. Everything he said would happen, happened, and then some.
So here's to Lorenzo and his staff, we thank you for a great festival and tour and hope to work together again.

I should also add a huge thank you to Ewoud "Eddie" Pilgrim, who stepped in at the last minute and saved the day. We could have played with just the two guitars like we did in 98/99, but he knew a lot of the songs and had the balls to get up there and rock, so we went for it. He just got better throughout the tour and as excited as he was to do it, we were even more impressed with his abilities to play but also inject a new energy into SP!
