Flash is the devil. It is distracting while playing both to the player and audience, and the pictures that result tend to look awful. |

Jake, that has to be one of the most intense (sinister?) looking pics (2nd from top) i have seen. Keep up the good work. j/k glad to hear things went well. —Surf in Seattle? |

You guys should see the picture taken right after the sinister looking one. HUGE smile. It looks like this picture. http://a200.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00479/99/16/479706199_l.jpg Personally I'm a fan of my "Christ" picture. Note the single light filtering down upon me. Pyrobob, I hear rumors of us playing together this summer. I hope that works out. I forgot who told me this rumor. Perhaps Bill... or one of my bandmates. |

Jake, I noticed from the pics that you used both the Jag and the Jazzmaster. How often do you switch up guitars at your shows? |

I start with the Jazzmaster and I save the Jag until I play Squad Car because I play Squad Car a lot better with that guitar. Much stiffer strings. |

Ah, I see. So the Jazzmaster is pretty much your main guitar now? What strings do you use on each one? |

No, the Jag is the number one guitar because I need it most on the song I play lead. I just happen to play the Jazzmaster for most of the set. I have Rotosound Flats .12s on the Jag and I have Thomastik flat .12s on the Jazz |

Oh, okay. That makes sense. As for the pics, they are quite good. I'd really like to see you guys live, as well as The Verbtones. |
