Hi there,
for those of us who want to read more than about pedals, effects, guitars.
…and those who are still not interested in more practicing…
WHAT is the most sexy surf cover illustration for you? From 60`s to now!
When I think about my first thoughts are:
TIKI TONES: Suburban Savage
THE MONOMEN: Shut the fuck up
Swinging Creepers, A tribute to The Ventures (Compilation).
The most important thing in this thread are pics of course!
I am still too dumb for uploading pics here…
So, who can upload those covers here, please?
— Twang cheers!

Not sure what the policy on nudity is here so I'll let somebody else find the cover for the Astronettes (even if they didn't exist)

Ah, yes!!!! Of course! The legendary Astronettes LP!! I have got it here!
Are there policies on nudity??? What is this? This is the internet. Feel free to act like you want. Life is too short for policies on nudity.

The two album covers of the Ramonetures are really sexy:

You can throw rocks and garbage at me, but I'd prefer no nudity. I'm always hoping that the sg101 community will be welcoming to all people, including women, not just white dudes from mainly the western hemisphere. Posting nude photos of women doesn't seem to help further that goal.
Sorry.

If you really must, just post a link to the image, do not embed it, AND make sure you have a "NSFW" (Not Safe For Work) disclaimer. I would like to continue being able to read SG101 at work.

Brian, I agree with not allowing nudity on the site--and there's definitely no need for you to apologize for that. While my children (several in their teen years) don't read the site, I from time-to-time will show them things on here that they might find interesting. Nudity would really hamper sharing with them. Unfortunately there are times when the language used by some here also prohibits that. If there is not to be a policy prohibiting it I would at least appeal to those posting to keep your language clean. I'm sure everyone here is capable of expressing themselves without resorting to vulgarity.
Thanks again for providing such a unique and enjoyable forum.

I think that's fine reasoning. Truth is, I know of a few places on the internet where you can see LOTS of pictures of nude women for free! Don't all PM me at once.

Fixed that for ya.
Also, I'm all for nudity on this site as long as it doesn't objectify women(or men if one chooses to post male nudity).

Good morning.
Hi Brian,
I do not wanted to turn this site into porn stuff of course. Who is interested in porn and old enough is allowed to turn to other pages.
I just thought about some nice sexy covers in surf music. And a few of them just showed up, nice!
I think there is a big difference between sexy and porn.

Of course also sexy cover with men on it.
I remember a 10inch from a band called the "Ups" or something… There was a naked surfer bonded to a surfboard.

Wasn´t this supposed to be just a collection of LP covers? So this is documentary, not porn. I personally don´t have a problem with it. But of course I do respect Brians decission.

Was it Nigel Tufnel, or David St Hubbins who said "There's a fine line between 'sexy' & 'sexist'?

Nigel said, what's wrong with being Sexy?
and David or the manager said, no, sexist, not sexy.
There is a fine line.
