What a cool song! It's really mellow and lovely, and a bit blue. Really captures the feeling of peace and beauty on the shore under moonlight. I spent many summer nights in such a place when I was young, listening to the quiet, lapping waves, and this song makes me want to go back, right now. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

If you ever (hint hint) get around to a full blown release of stuff it'll go in the wife's CD player while I drive to in-laws out of state. Guaranteed I'll enjoy the tunes and then loop this one for awhile & she will be OUT. Wow, can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone's thoughts. It really means a lot to me. These were some of the first riffs I started playing when I came in to surf. Luckily the band had a chance to play this in practice and for the audience. Tim did a great job on the drum work. I did the rest. I did something I had never done on the kick drum by adding reverb and it made it sound huge. Wes, I plan on going back through these songs and tweaking a few and re-tracking a few things and making a CD so you can listen in the car! Ivan, this was done with my VM Jag that will be overhauled soon. I wish that I could have waited until that happened but this song has waited long enough. We had to re-track the drums two times in the last 8 months because of problems. Anyway, the new AS is scheduled for the next song which is a bit livelier. I've got the Fatties a bit higher now after playing with some amp settings. Thanks for all your mentorship with us new surfers. We all appreciate your input and participation in the discussions. We are lucky to have some of the top surf guitarist worldwide come on hear and share with us. You are part of that elite class. And to Jeff, thanks for translating my dub which obviously didn't make it on the song. Thanks for kind words here. Syndicate, Monteray, Noel, Blueruins. Thanks guys!
