Hope you can make it out to Redwood in beautiful downtown LA this Sunday for the 27th edition of Guitars A Go-Go. January features Bongo mad-man, Nelson Bragg from the Brian Wilson Band, and he'll be joining the Balls for some ultra-slick crimejazz, surf-twang and space-age exotica. He'll also be sittin in with Paul Johnson and I for a real big deluxe version of Guitars INC. And you are gonna groove hard to the far out, fabulous sounds of the future with Tahiti Shuttle Experiment....

Sunday, Jan 25 Redwood Bar & Grill 316 West 2nd St. LA

4pm - Guitars INC.
5 - Tahiti Shuttle Experiment
6 - 3 Balls of Fire

2015 is Davie Allan & The Arrows 50th anniversary and we have some big fuzz and fun planned for the year-long celebration. I'll expand more on all that next time, but for now please make plans for Sunday, Feb. 15th at Viva Cantina - Burbank, for Jonny Whiteside's Messaround with the Balls and the Arrows, back to back at 6pm and 7. Dave Allan has never sounded better and his latest fuzz masterpieces, Fuzzfest and Arrow Highway are just incredibly cool and great!

Finally, I've been busy licensing several of Jerry Cole's psychedelic tracks for Burton Snowboards' Peace Park documentary and ads from the JC reissue series that I produced for Sundazed and Ace Records. It's really great for me to see Jerry's wonderful music still being recognized and utilized. He would have gotten a kick, for sure!

That's all for now and please come visit with the Balls at www.3ballsoffire.com Thank you!

Started reading that and thought BTD was sitting in with Paul Johnson before I realized it was a cut and paste from Mike Vernon, LOL, would be fun to see!

Does anyone know what type / brand of fuzz pedal Davie Allen used in the 60's? I am also curious to know what he uses today. Thank you.

HEY THERE, HI THERE, HO THERE !!!!

From what I recall, he used a Mosrite Fuzzrite in the 60's, and a Rat more recently.
